Kingswood Primary Academy

Fun Run for Florence

Instead of Sports Day this year, we will be doing a fun run to raise money for Mr Bark’s daughter Florence on her 6th birthday, Friday 8th July.

As you all know, Florence has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The family are raising funds for specialist treatment. Many of you have already kindly donated to the Just Giving page and we thank you all so much. We are aware that the cost of living is rising and understand that not everyone can give money, but even your support with raising the awareness means a lot.

We are asking for any donations to be brought in on the morning. There will also be collection buckets in the afternoon.

Children will be having a picnic lunch on the field from 12.00pm (if you have ordered a school meal a picnic lunch will be provided) Parents will be invited to join us at 2.00pm for a fun run around the school site. There will be stalls selling items in the hall from 3.00pm – children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please can children come to school wearing brightly coloured clothes and any fabulous accessories to make them “Be More Fab” (sensible shoes please).

As a school we always go above and beyond with our fundraising and as this cause is especially close to our hearts we hope to raise a lot of money for Florence.

Many thanks for your support as always.
